The new Nokia Gold Arte 8800 is a revamped model of the old fashionphone - Carbon Arte and comes with 18-carat gold casing. In case you are thinking that ‘gold is not enough’, there comes another surprise - this stylish set also flaunts white leather encasing. The phone is aimed at people belonging to the high strata of the society, who consider their mobile phone as a status symbol and are ready to shell an exorbitantly high price for the same.

The features of the all new glitzy and gleaming Gold Arte are similar to its predecessor Carbon Arte. It features a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera, with 8x digital zoom that ensures its users utmost clarity even while clicking a distant object. The mobile phone supports Tri-band GSM (900 / 1800 / 1900) and WCDMA 2100 connectivity. If this was not enough, Gold Arte 8800 is also equipped with series 40 5th Edition interface, Feature Pack 1, USB 2.0 port and the Opera Mini Web browser.
Nokia Gold Arte 8800 flaunts a 4GB internal storage memory. It has built-in music player and video player and also supports video recording. The microUSB OTG in the model provides wired connectivity to the PC, for transferring data. The standard Li-Ion 1000 mAh (BL-4U) battery of Gold Arte 8800 can provide up to 3½ hours of talk time and up to 300 hrs of stand-by time, when it is fully charged.
