Eyebrows are that feature on your face, which provide a frame to your face. They are the part, which play very important role in giving the desired look to your face. Therefore you need to properly shape your brows. The purpose of making up your eyebrows is to create a beautiful frame to the face, which will certainly help you improve your overall look. The shape and grooming of your eyebrows will make your eyes look bigger and open up your face more naturally.The classic brow – the shape that suits almost everyone – is this: Imagine a vertical line drawn from the middle of your nostril up towards your brow. That’s where it begins. The brow arches at the outside edge of the iris. Then hold a brush diagonally from the corner of your nose to the corner of your eye and to your brow. That’s where the brow ends.

You may also use a salt water mix to clean out the piercing, making sure not to get any in your eyes. Mix the salt water into a squirt bottle (not a spray bottle). Put a towel under the piercing, and cover your eye to soak up the water as it runs off. Using the bottle, squirt salt water around the piercing from every direction. You should do this for several minutes, so you will either need a large bottle or several small ones. Rinse the piercing off with clear, clean water, and pat dry with a paper towel.

Use a saline solution to clean the eyebrow piercing. The piercing should be cleaned at least twice a day. Soak a cotton ball in the saline solution and place on the piercing site. Soak the area for several minutes until all crusting has been removed. Use a new toothbrush to clean the piercing if you have a barbell in place.

Shape Color And Style

Your brows should begin directly over the tear duct at the inner corner of your eye and rise in a gentle curve along the brow bone. The highest point of your eyebrow arch should be even with the outer edge of your eye’s iris, tapering down and ending at the outside corner of your eye. To define your ideal brow length, line up a pencil parallel to the bridge of your nose and then at an angle across the outer edge of your eye.

Lift Your Eyebrows

Raising your eyebrows to a higher position is a very rejuvenating procedure and is obtained by doing a brow lift - also called a forehead lift. This procedure is normally done together with other procedures (for instance a facelift) to obtain a more harmonious rejuvenated look.

Eyebrow lifts are usually performed under local anesthesia, supplemented by a mild sedative to keep you relaxed, yet awake. Your doctor will make an incision across the top of the head, just above the hairline. Excess skin, fat and portions of the muscle are then removed through the incision, which is then closed with clips or sutures. Forehead and brow lifts may be performed alone, or along with other procedures such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.

Eyebrow Filling

Brow Powders or powder eyeshadow in shades that closely match the color of your brow. Choose a soft-textured matte powder and apply with a soft wedge brush or a thin liner brush. Begin application in the center of the brow and work outward toward the brow tip then back toward the beginning of the brow. Use short, light strokes between the brow hairs, and apply a bit more pressure (for stronger color) when defining the underside of the brow.
